Am I the first one who has installed omega2p-v0.2.0-b186.bin?

    No, you are not alone.

It's too complicated to choose between "Omega Talk" and "Comments & Feedback". Let it be "Omega Talk"!

Perhaps the New OS Release! thread would be the best place - maybe @Lazar-Demin did not even notice this message 😉

I think you should add also this line to your log:

[ 11.7.....] spidev spi32766.1: buggy DT: spidev listed directly in DT
    [ 11.744115] ------------[ cut here ]------------

BTW there are a few results on Google search: 'spidev spi 32766.1: buggy DT: spidev listed directly in DT' - Omega2 is not among them yet.

  • @György-Farkas That „buggy DT“ message is here already for a long time. It‘s harmless, it only indicates a mismatch between the device tree (DT, the structure that informs the linux kernel about the hardware it is running on) and what the spi driver expects. That should be investigated/fixed/cleaned up some time, but as the driver does explicitly detect the situation, it does not crash, but just outputs the warning and then works normally. At least in all the FWs where I saw this message so far.

So I doubt the crash you see has to do.with that DT bug, but is caused by something else spi related. I still might be wrong, not having fully understood what exactly is wrong in the DT (otherwise, I‘d fixed it in my LEDE/OpenWrt builds long ago and let you know 😉

  • Thank you @luz . Unfortunately my Linux knowledge isn't "deep" enough.

And I was wrong when I wrote "Omega2 is not among them" - eg. @Larry-Pinney and @WereCatf have already discussed here: Omega2 won't reboot?
