@jonty No. The wireless Arduino IDE method outlined in our documentation has worked consistently since the launch of the Arduino Dock 2 back in 2016. In @Noniono's case, using a programmer is meant to test the MCU. It isn't responding to the Omega. If it also doesn't respond to the programmer, then we know the MCU has somehow gotten into a bad state or has been damaged.

@György-Farkas @Steven-Lutz-0 At first glance, this does seem odd, but if you try out avrdude-6.3, you'll notice that it doesn't actually successfully flash the microcontroller on the Arduino Dock. I can't recall the exact details but the avrdude developers made some changes with how GPIOs are accessed and it doesn't work on the Omega. The last time it worked properly was in version 6.1. Changing the version in the package makefile to 6.9 was our attempt at making sure our version (6.1) gets installed instead, but it turned out to not work... We've reverted the change and if you do ./scripts/feeds update onion in the build system, it should build properly.

ICSP is (SPI like and is,) using synchronous serial (CLK, MOSI, and MISO) method to perform in-circuit programming. You have to find a proper library to perform such task, probably in bitbanging style.

@Victor-Iriciuc Victor, glad you found the ticket system. and you are correct to post here in the forum to discuss the current status of your issue. i was just saying that to get official help you need to enter your device in the system. be sure to list url's of any threads you tried to get help in. the onion admins can then read up on the status of any help that was discussed and hopefully make additional comments and/or suggestions.
