I had my Omega running yesterday and didn't have the AP secured. My iPad decided to connect to the open AP instead of my regular WiFi. I didn't even notice until I tried to print something and my iPad couldn't find my printer…. Weird….
I had full internet access through the Omega even though I never set up any kind of IP forwarding or anything.
Is the Omega supposed to act as a WiFi relay automatically or is this just a fluke?
I didn't expect this and have since set up a password on my Omega AP.
Hi @Daniel-Wright, the Omega is configured by default to act as a WiFi signal extender. Would you like to turn that feature off?
I just password protected the AP, but to know how to turn it off would be good for future reference. Thanks.
Hi @Daniel-Wright, you can turn it off with the Console's Settings app. There is a check mark that enables the AP. If you uncheck that then it will be turned off.
