I got a Tello drone for Christmas, it's controlled via an app on the phone communicating directly to the drone via WiFi. It's recommended to use a WiFi extender to improve range. I've been trying to get this to work with my Onion 2 and power dock.

It works fine as an extender to our home network, but if I set it up to connect to the drone then connect my phone to the Onion then the app doesn't see the drone.

I'm assuming it's likely to be because the app is connecting to a specific address.

Is there a way to see what my phone is trying to do when it tries to connect? Just to get more information. Is there a way I can update/hard code specific routes? Links to doco?

While I'm here a couple of extra questions:

• can I connect the onion to both the drone and the local wifi network and also act as an extender?
• is there a antenna I can connect to the onion to improve range a bit, just in case I need that?

Just a few questions around the kit I've got:

1. Where's the documentation on the Proto Expansion? It looks like the pins map to some of the holes, but it's hard to see. I think the first row of holes maps to the first rolw of pins, but I'm not sure.
2. Could I mount the proto board backwards to act as a spacer for the PWM expansion? This would also free up some space so I could access that and have the OLED expansion working.
3. I've read that you can't stack more than 1 PWM board, I'm assuming that's because the board address is burned in somewhere. In that controller chip? Is it possible to (somehow) update that address to allow for more servos?
4. Is the project book available to download? In e-book format? MD?

Hi, While I'm waiting for my kickstarter package to arrive, I thought I'd check out a few things about the power dock. I've read https://wiki.onion.io/Tutorials/Expansions/Using-the-Power-Dock so I think I've got the basics.

I understand it won't come with a battery so I'll need to buy one. What I was wondering is if I could use a cellphone battery? They are lithium ion rather than lithium polymer, and 3.87V rather than 3.7V and I'd have to make a connector. Is it worth trying? Would the charging circuit still work? It's just that I've got a 3000mAh battery surplus to requirements, so i thought it might be worth a try.
