Forgot about this topic for a bit. I did manage to get it working with the combination of the Omega1 tutorial and the new files from WereCatf. I had some problems compiling just the package, but I think that was my mistake.

About Lirc, I quickly abandoned it. It was much to complicated and bulky for what I needed. I ended up modifying some other code I found.

I've just received my Omega 2 and was looking forward to trying to get LIRC on it. Unfortunately the Cross compile guide is for the Omega 1, I got incompatible architecture errors.
When can we expect an upgraded tutorial for the omega 2 cross compiling?

In this thread https://community.onion.io/topic/371/has-anyone-gotten-lirc-cross-compiled/12 Broken Lin mentioned something about a tutorial for a remote. Any news on that? Looking forward to something like this.
