The current image from Onion is running 18.06 which was EOL a year ago...

You could also connect by using a serial connection. For me, the USB serial connect works over the same USB cable used for powering the the Omega 2. I was happy to find that only one USB connection was needed. It really helped me when I was working around the issue when, after my upgrade to Ī©-ware: 0.3.2 b233, the device's AP was not coming up when 'country' is specified in /etc/config/wireless. The serial connect has the added benefit of displaying kernel messages when the system is booting.
@dr_jkl Are you using the native MacOS WiFi sniffing tools or WireShark alone?
@dr_jkl I am talking about looking at the WIFI packets before negotiation occurs.

What router firmware and version are you running, please?
Have you done any packet captures to see where the authentication negotiation fails?
On the bright side, some of us can connect.
I have had no issues connecting my Omega2+ to my AES encrypted WiFi network that uses an ASUS RT-AC66U running asuswrt-Merlin 380.63.
My WPA Pre-Shared key is 8 characters, all alpha.
What router firmware and version are you running, please?

I can confirm that the system can see/write/read from the SD card.
