I tried doing that, without success.
Somehow it seems I bricked 2 usb sticks and I don't get why:
I salvaged an old usb extension cord and connected its red wire to 5V, the black wire to GND and green wire to data+ and white wire to data-.
Both sticks are not usable anymore and don't appear on the pc anymore.
any ideas?
I will try that later, as I will have to attach a usb cable (I don't have the dock).
I report later whether it worked.
Hello,
I just received my Onion omega2 today and put it on a breadboard, vcc and gnd connected correctly as well as Tx and Rx to the lines of my usb-serial converter.
The omega2 restarts all the time and is in some kind of boot loop, pulling reset to low seems to only pause the output instead of giving more options.
No wifi access point of the omega2 appears.
