Has anybody tried to turn this into a VPN router? Would be great to carry it along to connect to a network and use it a a VPN access point/router for all devices

Basically I am asking anybody who has designed an enclosure for 3D printing to share the design (or link) in this thread.

I start, a simple bu functional enclosure for the Omega2/2+ mounted on a power dock, with a fan and a 2500mA battery.

I made my own case for the O2+ with the powerdock, a fan and a 2500mA battery. I will also make on without the battery in, one for the simple dock and one for the arduino dock.

Just managed to set-up my first one. This chip doing nothing gets extremely hot. Anybody else noticed this?
Honestly I have experiences with other chips/boards and this feels like it sits easily at 50C. Basically it cannot be left alone without a fan

I will try even if everytime i do reload_config it stalls everything and i need to turn off and on

Overall, i am happy with this chip ... i only wish there was more support especially on the source codes

This is extremely disappointing. Basically it makes the device 5000000% unsecure.

I have quite a few of them and docks and alike which I no loger use and will not use.

I gave up using o2+ for octoprint.
A person at a local hackerspace ported octoprint to another board he is testing which has a mega and a chip running some sort of lede. His github is here

Maybe there is something you guys can also use for the O2+, I am going to see if I can get one of these boards and make my life easier.

Also try changing USB cable or USB supply as some simply are so bad that they do not deliver enough for the O2+ to work (I speak out of experience)

Indeed, I just ignored it and wend serial to get all fixed up

the web server is completely corrupted
but for me that does not matter
