I am familiar with Linux commands and FTP stuff. I would like to build the Web GUI myself anyway, I just wanted to know which package would be suitable for this purpose. And some reference material that can help me would also be great. I will check the links you have sent. Thanks!

@Helio-Machado I can live with FTP/Samba features for now. I wish to build a Web GUI around the FTP/Samba. I want to connect devices like Android Devices, Windows devices and such to the NAS via a Web GUI that I will be building.

@Costas-Costas True it seems I cant reach repo.onion.io as well. Any suggestions or work around for this or just keep trying till you get? By the way, is it okay for me to switch off the device when this is going on?

I bought a Omega 2 Plus and Expansion Dock to learn IoT. I read the manual and did everything as described (Setting up using the browser). Now the firmware update/install doesnt seem to end at all. It has been close to 15 minutes now. I have a 4 mbps connection. Any help? I am afraid to shut it down fearing complications.
