@György-Farkas After doing the factory reset I got in. It hung on looking for a FW upgrade and I just hit SKIP and I'm good now. Thanks...now I get to play a little.

I would like to sit in my easy chair and play with my Omega2 using my Android phone. I can connect just fine but when I try to use the terminal I get a lot of extra characters. For example, my "root" login username becomes "roooOTttt" or something like that. If I backspace repeatedly and correct it to "root" then I have the problem of putting in a password which is doing the same thing, only I can't see it this time. No way to get a successful login.

@György-Farkas So... RST-to-GND... Same as reset button that isn't there?
Maybe I just need to request that the power dock be replaced. I haven't asked that question because it's been so long since I bought it but it looks like it must have been defective from the start since it is supposed to have a reset button.
@crispyoz I updated the firmware yesterday. It seemed to work and after reboot I could no longer access it. If the firmware upgrade didn't actually complete, it would be on the original version from 2017 Indiegogo campaign.
Installed the driver and couldn't access it on my Linux box so I booted into Windows and tried that. Installed Windows driver and still nothing. It isn't being detected at all by either OS.
@crispyoz Thanks. I will check it out. I was able to successfully (I think) upgrade the firmware when I first plugged it in. Everything was working exactly as advertised until it rebooted after the upgrade. That's why I thought just doing it again might be the answer. I will let you know. Thanks for the help.
@crispyoz I don't have a cable for that. I assume I would need to build a cable that connects the TX1 and RX 1 pins to my computer? Computer doesn't even have a serial port but I have a USB-to-Serial adapter at my office. Was hoping to be able to play with this over the weekend.
As to my question about shorting the RST to GND...is that what the missing reset button would do? I can handle that if so.
@György-Farkas Mine has no reset button. If I short the RST and GND pins for 10 seconds, will that perform a factory reset?
Got my Omega2 with power dock and OLED expansion through Indiegogo. Never tried to fire it up until today. Everything worked as expected right through setup. When it was time to connect to it after setup through wifi, I can't get access. Noticed that its built-in AP isn't showing up anymore either.
When I turn it on, lights seem to do what they should. Wanted to reset it but the Power Dock has no reset button. Since I can't access it at all, I am unsure how to reset it with no button.
Any help would be appreciated. I was kind pumped about playing with it and now I'm at a standstill.
