I've read something about an GPIO-library for python but can't find it at the moment.

If ttyUSB0 dosnt show up, check all your connections. especially the mini-USB connection at the printer. Mine was not totally connected and I had to push a bit more.

Now it works

The power transformer also works with 230V/50Hz. I'm from Austria and I had the same problem. I just changed the power socket at the end of the cable and it works now...
