@Nayan Cool tip :-) Effectively once this is done the Omega IS a range extender.
I just realised I was effectively already using my Omega as a range extender without realising it since I always use my Omega like this.
So long as your Omega is within range of your router
AND your computer is in range of your Omega
You will have internet access on your computer even if your computer is not in range of your router
The only thing I would emphasise is that you should set a security type and password on your Wi-Fi AP settings otherwise anyone could pirate on to your internet access by connecting to your Omega Wi-Fi
Just realised I hadn't done this :-(
@Boken-Lin Thanks for the explanation. I had used the GUI initially to set things up and wasn't aware of what was going on under the hood.
I have now completely switched to using CLI and was able to figure out the issue.
