How to activate serial console?]]></title><description><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">So my Omega2 showed up the other day, tried to connect to it today. Shows up as a WiFi network  Omega-XXXX but it is encrypted out of the box, I must have missed some information here?</p>
<p dir="auto">So I hook it up to the mini dock from my first gen Omega and wait for the serial driver to install, connect to COM7 @ 115200 baud, but nothing. Reboot the device and no console output what so ever?</p>
<p dir="auto">Is there a different <a href="https://wiki.onion.io/Get-Started" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.onion.io/Get-Started</a> for the Omega2?</p>

<p dir="auto">Here's what I noticed. The serial console on the usb port will only show you the start-up sequence but nothing after that.</p>
<p dir="auto">Once it has booted you will have to get to your Omega2+ via wifi... Unfortunately..</p>
