Also LIRC :&#x5C;]]></title><description><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">I've just received my Omega 2 and was looking forward to trying to get LIRC on it. Unfortunately the Cross compile guide is for the Omega 1, I got incompatible architecture errors.<br />
When can we expect an upgraded tutorial for the omega 2 cross compiling?</p>

<p dir="auto">What you need is something similar for the Omega2.  <a class="plugin-mentions-user plugin-mentions-a" href="http://community.onion.io/uid/1850">@WereCatf</a> has done a lot of good work for this and probably the best repository to use at the present can be found at: <a href="https://github.com/WereCatf/source" rel="nofollow">https://github.com/WereCatf/source</a><br />
For the Omega2, basically the same information as is covered in <a href="https://wiki.onion.io/Tutorials/Cross-Compile" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.onion.io/Tutorials/Cross-Compile</a> applies but using this repository instead.</p>

I did manage to get it working with the combination of the Omega1 tutorial and the new files from WereCatf. I had some problems compiling just the package, but I think that was my mistake.</p>
<p dir="auto">About Lirc, I quickly abandoned it. It was much to complicated and bulky for what I needed. I ended up modifying some other code I found.</p>
