I would like to create a low-performance barcode/QR code scanner using Onion. There are many USB or RS232 base barcode module out there. But I am not interested in those.

My plan is to connect a USB camera to Onion and then run Zbar (http://zbar.sourceforge.net/) to get the code. It is ok for my project that it take 1 second to recognize the barcode.
