The Arduino IDE will not work with the Omega, nor can Arduino sketches be uploaded to the Omega.
The Omega has a full Linux operating system while the Arduino has a microcontroller which can be programmed with a sketch.

You will, however, be able to write programs in other languages (shell, python, C, C++, etc) that can run on the Omega to do the same thing as your Arduino sketch.

It is possible to use the Arduino IDE in conjunction with the Omega and Arduino Dock. See our documentation on using the Arduino IDE to flash the Arduino Dock wirelessly!
