<![CDATA[Node-Red Update! V1.2.9 now available for the Omega2 Pro]]>You can now run Node-Red version 1.2.9 on the Omega2 Pro! This is a very recent release (Feb 2021) and a huge jump from the previous v0.19.5 release.
It's available as a package and can be installed using the opkg package manager.

How to Install Node-Red on your Omega2 Pro

If you're planning on using Node-Red through OnionOS, you can either:

  1. Use the OnionOS App Manager to install it
  2. Install manually:
opkg update
opkg install oos-app-nodered

If you just want Node-Red

opkg update
opkg install onion-node-red

How to Update Node-Red

If you already have the previous v0.19.5 Node-Red installed, update it by running:

opkg update
opkg upgrade onion-node-red
