[solved]opkg fails after opkg update

After opkg update
/etc/opkg/distfeeds.conf includes:

http://downloads.lede-project.org/releases/17.01-SNAPSHOT/packages/mipsel_24kc/onion/Packages.gz

But there are NOT onion directories under mipsel_24kc

For future reference. I had the same problem, solved with a reboot.

I'm having the same problem.
http://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/18.06-SNAPSHOT/packages/mipsel_24kc/onion/Packages.gz, wget returned 8.
Multiple reboots have not solved the problem.
Where should I point the opkg for onion packages?

After looking in /etc/opkg/ I see that the is a file named distfeeds.conf.new so I backedup distfeeds.conf and copied distfeeds.conf.new to distfeeds.conf.

Every thing seems to work now.

@Dennis-German If you have an out of date distfeeds.conf is may point to invalid hosts. When you update your firmware to the current release it will update your distfeeds.conf to point to the updated hosts.
