Omega Hardware Documentation

Is there anywhere I can find detailed documentation on Omega hardware?
I would specifically like to be able to access the following:
- General electrical specs
- Details of pin usage
- Schematics
- etc.
I would like this information both for the Omega itself and for the Arduino shield dock for which I would also like:
- Mapping between Omega pins and Arduino shield pins

Other hardware related documentation will be useful - I'll keep an eye open for it.
Now that the Omega and associated hardware is shipping, I suspect there will be a lot of similar questions : -)

I know from personal experience just how much work is involved in getting a new project going and in all the work involved in documenting it and dealing with (annoying :-)) user questions

Oh hey.. so is Vin 3.3 V then? Does that mean we need to supply a 5V supply to power the USB bus? That is not a problem really as you can probably source a higher current if you power it externally.

Vin to the Omega is 3.3V. So you would need a 5V supply if you're using just the Omega on a breadboard or circuit board and want to power the USB bus.
However, the Expansion Dock and Mini-Dock can handle a 5V Vin directly.

Yeah fairy nuff. That is what I thought
Actually it is pretty cool it runs on just 3.3V means a 3.7V LiPo battery would make a perfect power source. Now I gotta start working on a UPS dock now

@T-NT lol, that's what the battery dock is supposed to be. You can use it and charge the battery at the same time. Just gotta ship it to you guys.

So, just to get this right. You can run the omega with a 1s LiPo? Fully charged that's 4.2V.

@Egon-Windhager We have a voltage regulator on the battery dock. On the expansion dock, you need to go through the 5V micro USB port.

OK, but what if I want to run it without a dock?

@Egon-Windhager If you can supply 3.3V to the Omega itself, then you can run it without a Dock.

Just add a 3.3v voltage regulator between the battery and the Omega.

Got it. I need a voltage regulator. I was hoping you could power it like an arduino, which has an onboard voltage regulator.

@Egon-Windhager No, unfortunately we do not. It's something we can consider for future versions, though.

@Lazar-Demin What pin on the expansion dock is the 5V Vin?

@Craig-Soich You can connect a 5V power supply to either of the 5V and GND pins on the Expansion Dock and it will supply power to the Omega and Dock.
