@frederic-raducki Hey, did you make any progress on this topic? While I've now already ordered the OLED expansion I'm still considering getting the OLED screen from Upgrade Industries (since it's easily available at a maker store down the road) you had mentioned and playing around with it in the meantime.

So any advice and recommendations would be much appreciated.

FWIW: On my Omega2 with firmware 0.1.9 b149 the "expled 0xf21133" command doesn't show any errors and what seems like the desired output:

Setting LEDs to: f21133
Duty: 6 94 80

However the colour of the RGB LED is changed (even when GPIO ports 15, 16, 17 are set to output mode).

After manually setting the three GPIOs to Output the LED turned on.

However neither using the expled command on the CLI nor using the attached command from the onion cloud seems to have any influence on the RGB LED. What am I missing?

now that recently received my Omega2 (plus relay expansion) I'm trying to figure out what to actually do with it.

One idea which I had was to connect an IR receiver (e.g. TSOP4838 which I'm also using as an IR receiver for a RPi-based Kodi setup) to the Omega2 via GPIO. That would enable me to control things via a remote control, e.g. to allow me to turn on/off devices via the relays.

I couldn't find much information beyond this 6-month old thread about using IR receivers with the Omega.

So my question is whether anyone here has played around with IR receivers and the Omega? If so, any advice and pointers are much appreciated.

Please keep us posted about your findings. Would also love to get lirc running on the Omega2 for a project I have in mind.

I just picked up my Omega2 / revision R1 / Firmware 0.1.9 (b149) today and also noticed the reboot-instead-of-shutdown behaviour. Is there a solution for this issue yet?
