I'm having problems with the connection, did you connect the dock only or an FTDI programmer?
mine does not show a new COM port.

I also have that problem, the usb cable is ok, the driver is ok, I have a nodemcu that uses the very same serial chip and works fine.
The omega does not display a COM port when I connect it.
Is it possible that some omega's won't work with that?
I'm about to use an external serial programmer.
