RE: Omega2+: reboot and sd card fixed!
Attempting to use the manual firmware upgrade method outlined by @steven de Salas and @Martin Wiedemeyer... On using the sysupgrade command to firmware omega2p-v0.1.8-145.bin I am prompted for root sign in whereas the root login no longer works.
This may be a feature so the update in not interrupted, but does not seem like it. I could also be that the 0.1.8 requires a login that the 0.1.7 does not.
Firmware not upgrading on command. Any suggestions other than us the "-F" for force the firmware upgrade?
How to add serial input device on Omega2+ question
I am new to the Omega2+ and appreciate any suggestions. I have a device (external board) that reads custom sensor info and is read through a serial over usb interface (lots of terminal emulator applications to read output out there like Tera Term). What is the best way to use the USB port on the Omega2 or Omega2+ to read the serial over USB?
How can I find out if the Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge is supported?
There is an SPI interface but the device I am connecting but lacks documentation.
Looks like there is USB serial port support from this thread: https://community.onion.io/topic/47/usb-serial-port-support/2
I appreciate any suggestions.
RE: Omega2+ apps editor/terminal/webcam problems
I had the same problem with the console Terminal after using multiple Omega2's on the same browser. In Chrome, I opened an Incognito browser and was able to access it just fine. I think it has more to do with how Chrome is caching sessions.
RE: omega2 plus sdcard not working
I have the same issue, any update on the firmware?
