just to close this story: using cross compile method I was able to build openssl and xmlsec1. Then I just transferred .so files to Onion, cross compiled examples from xmlsec1 and tested. Everything works fine.
I am a little confused reading Omega2S datasheet about SPI and what's written about booting it (Page 18.): "SPI_CS1 and SPI_CLK must be left floating". If I just connect flash memory chip, it shall be all ok while CLK and CS on the chip are input?
If it can be connected that way, is there any way to "mount" memory from that chip and use it "as it is an SD card"? How?
I am designing a device that needs to have several additional components connected to Omega2S. The device doesn't need to have any kind of reset button. Looking to the schematics and the documentation, I find two things unclear:
Searching the web on modules that can run Linux, I found a module that can fit in 30x40mm space in a device. The "problem" is that it needs to be able to manipulate XML files and sign them using SHA256 and RSA-SHA256 algorithms. Can this custom modules be installed on Onion module so I might be able to write a C code to do the work?
