So I used the openWRT toolchain to compile opencv.
Can anyone take a look at see if this is useful or even works? I am a bit busy from a move, and don't even know where my omega is :P I posted this on an older thread, but I believe that there isn't really a way to revive a topic that has been dead for so long
@Theodore-Borromeo The lack of response if fairly common, they are probably dedicating resources to the Cloud services at this point in time.
Probably lack of response could also be a kind of ignorance of uninteresting or odd requests.
We as a open-source/hardware community like to share, especially solutions and not getting order do something without any reward.
@Guest I just asking my self what you really want here. I know/see that you still have some unsolved issues with your omega. But as long as you just do criticism and ask to get, we will not be willing to give more. And the majority of us do show you this in silence.
Gonna give this a shot.
Atheros and MAC80211 WDS to implement a wireless network bridge
@Luciano-S I don't think you understand that the reward is the ipk. and besides that, if no one wants it, that's fine. I just hope you didn't try to equate opencv = uninteresting. I don't know how much open source you've worked in, but asking if anyone wants to beta something isn't an order. . .
I was wondering about this since I saw a webcam icon appear on the control panel :P
@T-NT Yeah, the webcam app will allow for webcam, but without access to the source for it, I couldn't get opencv integrated into it.
However, it should be fairly easy to have a web app made to view the video feed, as well as link opencv into its operation in order to train a camera on monitoring doorways for people or recognizing peoples' faces for an IoT doorlock using the camera and servo motor attachments. . .
... but asking if anyone wants to beta something isn't an order. . .
Ok, just make a better title then ;)
Example : "opencv beta-testing ready to download!"
We are a international community and two words more are not too much, when it brings the requests theme on the point.
