@Robby-Marston What type of dock do you have please?

Trying the tutorial with an Omega2+, but the LCD does not show up in i2cdetect and the sample code from the tutorial is not generating any errors message when it runs.
Did you make any changes to any steps in the tutorial? (Double checked wiring, connections, and screen contrast).
Thanks in advance.
We have a guide to this setup in our Starter Kit experiments. Check out https://docs.onion.io/omega2-starter-kit/starter-kit-controlling-an-lcd-screen.html to learn how to read a 1-Wire temperature sensor and display it on a 16x2 LCD screen! :D
Hi @simon-jones you mentioned that you are using a Power Dock? The Power Dock does not include a USB-to-Serial chip meaning that you will not be able to connect via serial, as mentioned in the Power Dock wiki. Please use SSH instead.
is there somewhere I could find a tutorial on how to build a program?
@Luciano-S. merged into the Get Started page, thanks! :)
@Diego-Escalante Nice tip! Thanks for sharing!
