i feel like i did a pretty good ob of reading everyting i found here on setting up a print server. i get through most of it pretty well, seem to get good results with a minor exception or 2, but by going through the rest of the thread(s), i wonder if i need to be taking another approach (since i cannot get through from anything else on my network). ie, in reading about setting up a laserjet 1600c from hp, they say to download and install their hplip, but i dont see that is how it gets done on the omega. i am sure there is something i'm missing, so could use some direction. i am not unfamiliar w/ tech, but linux def isnt my strong suit.
