@crispyoz Thanks for your feedback. There is a request submitted by https://github.com/AndreyMitsyk already. He found the error in May, 2019. I was able to correct the scripts. But I do neither have the time nor the ability to update the OOS app. It may be done by modifying JSON files, but I don‘t really know

@Alexandr-Didenko Omega Dash is new Omega product based upon Omega2S+ and includes a touch screen. Take a look in the Beta Lab category here. https://community.onion.io/category/10/beta-lab

@György-Farkas @Giant-Pandame was SPAM so he/she/bot was banned. It was just repeating my comments and then embedding a link to some loan service.

@JP-Norair Tell us more details about your issues please: Newer builds (than Omega 2+ b202 fw binary) simply don't work with UART over ttyS0 ??? Onion Omega images (Software Repos) on 2020-01-24: Omega the "original" http://repo.onion.io/omega/images/ Omega2 up to v0.2.2-b202 http://repo.onion.io.s3.amazonaws.com/omega2/images/index.html?prefix=omega2/images/ newer than Omega2 v0.2.2-b202 http://repo.onioniot.com/omega2/images/

@Chris-Morgan said in Is there a BT/BLE chip level option suggested for the Omega2+ or the Omega2S+?: s for mechanical and cost savings. Something t Hey Chris, You could purchase a nRF52832 module. Then flash it with this firmware: https://github.com/theBASTI0N/nrf52832_scanner I then created an application that will receive the BLE data over UART. It then decodes the data and sends it over MQTT. https://github.com/theBASTI0N/ble2mqtt Making your onion I nice BLE gateway. Also the aplication will work with Bluez compatable devices.

To enable netconsole logging, you will specify the interface used to reach the syslog server, the IP and port of the syslog server, and optionally the MAC address of that server www.mcdvoice.com thank you

I will attempt to upgrade my image and pip install it. Pip install failed last time I tried. If you are interested in my use case, or have done something similar, here the talk : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxyziRuSefI . Please let me know if there is something I have missed, hopefully I will have a working solution with the Onion as the high level processor soon.

@Peter-Carr I aggree, with some common sense I was able do it, but I would urgently ask the Onion team to update their documentation. Obviously there are some differences in newer firmware versions like b233 I added a 1 GB SD-card. it was already formatted and automatically mounted. So I only had to start the slightly modified tar command and then I had to modify /etc/config/fstab file (But before that it took me hours and several firmware resets)
