busybox not working?

Referring to command line documentation the functions busybox --help or busybox --list will list out more information about possible commands on the Omega2+. Every reference to busybox on my Omega just gives the result 'busybox: applet not found'. Any thoughts..? I also get the same feedback from other linux commands for example: 'root@Omega-XXXX:/bin# sudo
-ash: sudo: not found

Please read this topic:
busybox: applets included isn't listed (resolved)

By default root is the only one user on Omega2, a super user with all privileges of course.
