Bricked Omega2

  • Hi everyone.

I'm trying to recover my bricked Omega2. That's the output I get in serial. I tried different USB keys and this is the only one that seems to be recognized, but still fails. It's an 8gb fat32 key totally cleaned and repartitioned with only one file in the root (I tried different omega2.bin versions, no one works)

Edit: I have an Arduino dock, the Omega is powered by different usb chargers. I tried a lot of them, up to 3A so I don't think it's a power issue.

Do you think it's recoverable or it's lost forever? Thanks

  • I also had problems reflashing the Omega2 with a FAT32 formatted flash drive. What I did was, creating a 1GB partition on the USB drive and formatted it as VFAT (I used Linux for this).

  • @Jackdaw Thanks! I'll try tonight. I also tried partitioning it but still FAT32. I'll update the post if it'll fix

  • @Mauro-Artizzu. Did it solve the issue?
