Onion-BLE integration

I am new to onion i am persuing an idea which involves BLE si there any support for ble integration in onion, is it the right hardware or should i stick to arduino ?

There is nothing stopping you adding a Bluetooth module and connect to it either by the UART or by I2C. Depending on your application that may even be more convenient than using up the USB port.

That is not about BLE but rather about the classic bluetooth audio scheme.
The author seems a bit confused, perhaps because the hardware may have dual purpose.
