@Rudy-Trujillo Can you try to connect to the Omega through serial terminal? From there, you can change the password with the command
passwd.Please let me know if this helps.

I seem to have a related problem where I created a new user (added in /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow and /etc/group) and I am able to login using the terminal, so it seems not to be the password, or one of the other entries. I do however fail to login using the desktop (graphical) login...
Any ideas on that?

@Peter-Peters The Console logs in with
rootbecause it requires the permission to do most things on the Console, such as changing WiFi settings, so you are actually required to log in as root.
