Can't connect to Onion via browser

I am able to use serial connection to communicate with the Onion, so it was possible to connect it to my wifi network and update the firmware. I am, however, not able to connect to the Onion Omega from the browser (Chrome) on my desktop computer. I've also tried to ping it, but it doesn't respond.
Have anyone else experienced similar issues?
