Power Dock vs Expansion Dock

I've got both of these -- they seem to be very similar in design. When would I use one vs the other? Thanks!

@fossette So would you say the main difference is that the Expansion Dock has the USB to Serial chip?

Actually, it is the combination of the EXP having USB>Serial and the Power having the ability to charge and run off battery at the expense of the USB>Serial.

Wouldn't be better to just add to the Expansion dock the charging/battery capabilities? There is a lot of room for that in the PCB.
