Can I use a pair of alkaline batteries for the 3.3v supply?

I don't have a dock.
Can I simply use a couple of batteries to fire up my Omega 2+?
What's the tolerance on the 3.3v supply? Will 3.0 to 3.2 v work (i.e., 2 alkalines in series)?

I wouldn't recommend it. Better to get a 3.3v regulator and plug alkaline batteries (or 5v) into that.
