Help, seem to be stuck in boot loop
-
I just got my first Omega2 and when I go to start it up it seems to be just looping. It displays the following with a slight pause then displays it again and again:
/ __ ___ ()__ ___ / __ _ _ ___ ___ ____ _
/ // / _ / / _ / _ \ / // / ' / -) _/ _
/
_/////___//// _////_/_, /_,/

OK, I think I isolated the problem. The USB source I was using wasn't providing enough juice.

OK, Now something else. It finishes the boot and I get a root@(none):/# prompt then it reads
[ 18.774680] EEPROM:Read from [factory] offset 0x0,length 0x400.
and the device no longer responds to keyboard input.

Please take pictures of your hardware and post it here ... as better the resolution as more we can see the details.
There where some of the Omegas2 not starting because of a shortage from soldering. Important also is that the Omega sits nice in the Socket of the dock (if you use one).
More info's how the procedure is to get defective Hardware changed, you can see in the guidelines ... see top of page the link.
