Connection Sharing via USB?

Despite hours of searching, i can't manage to get the wifi on my Omega working... So I had an idea! Is it possible to share my laptop connection to the Omega via USB? (I'm on Linux btw)

I guess for that you would need an USB to Network adapter. Just use one where is working with Open-WRT out of the box.
