SD Card issues with 0.1.10b160

  • I'm trying to set up my Omega2+ to boot from an SD Card. I've tried with 2 cards now (8gb and 16gb) and I'm getting the same errors. As follows:

This continues on and on. I've tried reformating the cards in windows to no success. Any suggestions?

If you use windows i guess you also use fat32 ore something else ... try ext4 as file system.

Before you ask how to do that ... there is a live cd called gparted ... with this it should be possible.

  • That did it. The directions didn't indicate that the sd card had to be preformatted.

  • @Tony-Mauro ,
feel free to make them a pull request, how you would like have it in the manual:

    https://github.com/OnionIoT/Onion-Docs/blob/master/Omega2/Documentation/Doing-Stuff/Boot-from-External-Storage.md

If you have Github you can fork the repository for the Doc and send them a pull request.
