Controlling custom OLED screen

Hi,

so i hooked up my random chinese OLED display, it's working flawlessly but i want to display an image (for demo purposes) but i cannot find OLED Expansion Control software (i cannot even see it in App Manager). Is this because i don't have official expansion? And if, how can i bypass that? I'm running latest stable firmware on Omega2. Thanks
