Possible to disable/enable usb ports?

Wondering if the USB port can be controlled in a fashion similar to this..

Basically I need to be able have it act like the usb cable has been unplugged from the other device.

Hi @T-F, it seems that the /sys/bus/usb/drivers/usb/unbind file exists, but I'm unable to echo anything to it. So I guess this feature isn't supported by the Omega.
