I bought another adapter with ASIX AX88179A chip.

The problem is still not solved. Omega does not see the interface.
Maybe this is due to the fact that the adapter has a USB 3.0 interface?

Hello. I need connect a USB-Ethernet adapter to my Omega2+. I use adapter on chip RTL8153.
The Raspberry Pi3 detects the new interface, but the Omega2 does not.
I installed the packages kmod-usb-net-rtl8152 and kmod-usb-net.
Tell me, can I somehow make my Omega2 see this adapter? Maybe someone has already done this, which adapter model you used.

The model is made in cubesat 1u format. Functions performed:

1. Collecting data from sensors (temperature, pressure, humidity, acceleration along three axes, battery voltage, GPS data) and sending them over the radio channel.
2. Single-axis orientation along the vertical axis using the reaction wheel. Fuzzy logic is used to set the angular velocity of the reaction wheel.

@crispyoz I am connecting Omega-2 + via a homemade board (3.3v to vin). Now I connected it to Power dock 2. The metal cover is also very hot (burns finger). I remember that some time ago I could safely touch the lid for a long time. Current consumption approx. 500 mA

I noticed that my Omega2 immediately after switching on heats up to 60 degrees Celsius (metal cover). Don't touch it. Is this the norm? It seems to me that it was less hot before.

First I'm running from a 3.7V cell, and then trying a 5V power supply. I use TO220 with no heatsink. After several measurements, I noticed that the output of the LM3940 has 3.28V without load. When I connect Omega, the voltage drops to 3.1V, which is not enough for Omega.

Try the following steps:

uci set onion.console.setup=1
uci set onion.console.install=1
uci commit onion
console-install-tool

I bought an LM3940, put an output capacitor with a capacity of 220 microfarads, but Omega does not start even with an input voltage of 5 volts. The orange LED starts flashing, but turns off after a few seconds.

Please tell me which web server uses Omega2 and PHP7 can be connected to it.

I opened the datasheet on the LM2940, but it says that the output voltage is from 5 to 15 volts.

I tried to connect my Omega directly to a 3.7 volt lithium battery, but the orange LED blinked once and that’s it. It’s as if Omega has gone to the defense, although I’m not sure if she is in it.
