Of course now it is working fine today and I can't reproduce the issue. I rebuild fairly often, so if I encounter the error again I will post the info you requested. Thanks!

RE: oupgrade returns "Failed to parse message data" even after updating via opkg
I am having a similar issue. I rebuild devices fairly regularly and have never had issues, but it's been a while since I've rebuilt one. As of today, I am seeing the following when trying to
oupgrade
which is something I haven't seen before:root@Omega-69A1:/# oupgrade -c Failed to parse message data
When I try to go to latest:
root@Omega-69A1:/# oupgrade --latest Failed to parse message data Failed to parse message data WARNING: Variable 'image' does not exist or is not an array/object WARNING: Variable 'repo' does not exist or is not an array/object > Downloading new firmware ... /tmp/: Is a directory /tmp/: Is a directory /tmp/: Is a directory /tmp/: Is a directory /tmp/: Is a directory /tmp/: Is a directory /tmp/: Is a directory /tmp/: Is a directory /tmp/: Is a directory /tmp/: Is a directory /tmp/: Is a directory /tmp/: Is a directory > ERROR: Downloading firmware has failed! Try again!
Not sure if this is related?

RE: Onions failing to boot
@Cooper-Chan I know this topic is almost a year old, but figure I'd ask - did you make any progress on identifying the root cause here? We are seeing exactly the same behavior you describe (devices work great, then start randomly failing in the field after a period of time). Boot log is exactly what you describe, failsafe behavior the same, etc. Just curious if you have any additional detail you can share as we are just starting the troubleshooting process on our side.

MTP with Omega2S+?
Just wondering if anyone has had any success getting Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) over USB working with an Omega device. I have no issues with USB mass storage, but I'm interested in connecting to some devices using MTP with the Omega2S+ as a host. From what I can tell, MTP depends on libmtp which doesn't appear to be compatible with OpenWrt... just wondering if anyone has tackled this problem with any success or has any guidance. Thanks!
