I just recently bought the Omega2 development kit.

First, I love this little board! However, it looks like the chips we got came with a very old bootload on them: U-Boot 1.1.3 (Sep 19 2017 - 15:11:41) Unfortunately, my Ethernet port also does not appear to work. I cannot seem to bring it up no matter what I try (both the Omega2SP and Omega2SP+), which means the web-based recovery method is out of the question. Similarly, this firmware seems to have a bug when trying to load firmware over USB (which is why I wanted to update u-boot in the first place). Thus, the entire development process is pretty sketchy.

Any help would be much appreciated.
