To play with the Onion cloud, I updated my firmware to 0.1.1 as advised in the post, using the Omega web console. It was supposed to take 3 minutes, but never finished. Finally I had to power down and up my Omega to get it out of its hung state. When it rebooted, I discovered that it was totally wiped. I'd installed python, which was now uninstalled. And I'd written my first program too (about 5 hours worth of work), which is now gone too. Is this expected behavior when installing a firmware update?

Are there any plans to have a larger display expansion than the current OLED one? Or is there another off-the-shelf serial display that's easy to hookup to the Omega? I find the OLED one nice, but the next is just to tiny to read.

Thanks all! I put a line in /etc/rc.local and it worked!

I put a @reboot <my script> in the cron (using crontab -e). But my python script doesn't seem to launch on reboot. It runs fine if I run it from the command line.

Is @reboot not supported in cron on the Omega?
