Tested with a jack 3.5 to USB adapter + headset with microphone and jack 3.5 connection: it works much better. Some background noise can be listened, but nothing very important.
I suppose, with the right headset, sound would be event much better.

@crispyoz More information: when audio is recorded in PC and played in Omega, it works fine. When audio is recorded using Omega and played in PC: background noise appear.
@crispyoz I powered the Omega 2 Pro with a power supply (not PC), but still the same problem. If I can, I will get a usb sound card, to check if the problem disappear.
@crispyoz I'm powering the Omega with a USB cable connected to my Linux PC.
@crispyoz I would like to add more information. I'm using a mono headset with microphone.
The headset has USB connector, that I directly connect to the USB of the Omega 2 Pro.
I could see in the forum, that some users have used a USB sound card. The USB sound card, probably had a jack 3.5 for audio input and output.
Maybe using a USB sound card the background noise could disappear. What do you think?
@crispyoz If I do the same in my Linux computer everything works fine. When I do the mentioned steps in Omega, it appears this strange background noise.
Thank you
Hi all
I made the following test using two different Omega2 Pro:
In both omegas I obtained the same result: a strange background noise. The noise is regular.
The same headset has been tested in another linux machine without any problem. It's quite a good headset.
Any suggestion?
Thank you
Do you know if it's possible to use Tensorflow Lite on Omega2+? If not possible, any alternative?
I have seen two questions in the forum, but no clear answer.
Is it possible to use the official release versions of Lede instead of the "snapshots" ones? Lede doesn't recommend their usage for reliable systems.
