RE: Omega won't boot after upgrade
I'm probably doing it wrong (plugged in to computer with switch off, held button down and turned on).. but when I hold the button down, it gets to about 10 seconds and then launches the u-boot netconsole:
- U-Boot 1.1.4 (Sep 14 2015, 08:21:31) *
AP121 (AR9331) U-Boot for Onion Omega
DRAM: 64 MB DDR2 16-bit
id read ox100000ff
FLASH: 16MCLOCKS: 400/400/200/20 MHz (CPU/RAM/AHB/SPI)LED on during eth initialization...
Press reset button for at least:
- 3 sec. to run web failsafe mode
- 5 sec. to run U-Boot console
- 7 sec. to run U-Boot netconsole
Reset button is pressed for: 10
Button was pressed for 10 sec...
Starting U-Boot netconsole... -
RE: Omega won't boot after upgrade
I'm not sure exactly. The oupgrade returned some error and i poked around trying to see if I could do anything and then rebooted it. Maybe a minute or two?

Omega won't boot after upgrade
Hi,
After update I'm getting a kernel panic on boot. Attached is the output of the boot sequence. screenlog.0I connected my Omega today for the first time. I ran through the getting started stuff. I then connected to the console and did a 'oupgrade -check', which reported that there was an upgrade available. I ran 'oupgrade' and the update started. It then said something about not being able to write to something and I failed to take a screenshot of that. It left me at a place where I couldn't run anything (ie 'ls').
I reboot it by unplugging and plugging back in the usb cable. It didn't come back up so I attached via screen and saw the attached file.
Any thoughts on how I can get this back online?
I don't have an ethernet expansion port, which seems like one way to do it.
UPDATE: Perhaps over the serial connection?
