Hello,
I'm working on a project where I need audio in and out. Rather than putting a USB audio IC on the board, since that latest releases support I2S I'd like to use that. From reading other posts here it appears the WM8960 is supported out-of-the-box by the Onion firmware.
Is it really as simple as connecting the I2S pins? Is any particular configuration needed for ALSA to recognize the chip?

I'm happy to see that Onion has released Warp Core. We have a product shipping with Omega2 as Ethernet only because of the issues we ran into with WiFi. I'm playing around with building a custom image from the OnionIoT Repo.
Can you tell me, if you were to build a fresh image that would be posted to http://repo.onion.io/omega2/images/, after cloning the repo and running "./scripts/feeds update -a" , what "./scripts/feeds install xxx" commands would you execute? install -a?
The reason I ask is, with all packages installed, the make fails and I have to go disable something, then try again. Latest issue is with libs->telephony->libre missing a zlib dep. Remove libre and opensip fails. I know this isn't Onion's problem so I'm curious which packages you actually install for the prod releases of the Omega2 firmware.

Any updates on this new driver? We need to do a custom build and the wifi is killing us. I'd hate to have to ship a wired ethernet only product.

@luz Hi Luz, I've been playing with a recently unboxed Omega2+ these past couple days. I started with @WereCatf repo then saw your message that it was in in official LEDE so I went and pulled it down last night, built an image and finally got to boot it up tonight on a flight. I've noticed that with with @WereCatf repo things seem to "just work" a bit better. For example, I can't join a network in 'sta' mode ('ap' works) with LEDE but could with the original repo. Would you mind providing your .config and /etc/config/wireless&network that you have working successfully?
