@Luciano-S.
A new discovery a day is as good as 'an apple a day' ...
Thanks for the tip I edited the text, looks much better

RE: Default password not working?
@Luciano-S.
Luciano, you are an example to the world, your offer to Chris is a proof that the internet is worth existing.
I also gave 2 Omega units to a colleague of mine to help him at school with a design project for his classes. I also lend him a box with every Onion interface available as of now and told him whatever you can justify to use in your project Ii will be honored to give the interface(s) to you as well. He is about 24 years old and I remember when I was his age how precious help from the ‘gray haired’ techs and engineers was a gift from heaven.
I wanted to be sure he would start with one of the most impressive SBC concept now on the market.-
Code Writing for Microcontrollers
I am a total admirer and user of ‘Flowcode’ (graphical & object oriented) to write the software for my designs:
https://www.matrixtsl.com/flowcode/
If one day Onion teams with Flowcode to offer an integrated design suite they will be by far the very best design environment on the planet. -
PCB Design Software
I now use ‘AutoTRAX DEX’ : https://www.kov.com/ . I tried all the standards and for the price $99US this is by far the best integrated PCB Design Software. Support is like the application; exceptional.
Luciano you truly understand how happiness exists; create it in others and the pleasure is as intense for the receiver as the giver.

RE: Arduino bootloader issue
Am I right?
The micro USB on the Arduino Dock is only used to power the 'Omega/Arduino' assembly.
The actual flashing is performed via Wi-Fi.- When I have the Arduino with the Omega plugged onto it and flash software for the Arduino
Programming is successful but I always get this error message in the Arduino environment:
ash: merge-sketch-with-bootloader.lua: not found
I looked in the Omega and find these references to the file:
find -name merge-sketch-with-bootloader.lua
./rom/usr/bin/merge-sketch-with-bootloader.lua
./usr/bin/merge-sketch-with-bootloader.lua
I see the I/O responding to the software after the flash, why do I get this bootloader error ?

RE: Broken power switch
SMD soldering is my world ;^)
If you can just send replacements that would be fine, but would they be the exact same model/manufacturer?
If so SMD soldering is a very fragile art and I think that going for the same part number does not justify the risk, I would rather invest in a higher quality switch.
If you can suggest a replacement of better quality I would get them directly from a supplier and be happy to pay these things go for under a dollar...
Another honorable solution would to simply bridge the pads to the ON position with a simple wire. I did not find a situation where I could not simply reboot from power OFF and ON.
Thank you for your prompt reply. -
RE: Broken power switch
Broke 2 switches on my units. Not touching any other before replacing them. Extremely fragile.
Still think that the Onion suite is the future of interfacing.
Mind blowing power and ease of interfacing, a very strong BRAVO to the team.
The Omega card is a pure work of art in PCB design.
Yes Mr. Wozniak your philosophy when you designed the first Apples I/II has been taken to a new heights; share, give the intense power and pleasure of creativity to all with a brilliantly designed user interface.
Very... Very impressed with the extreme power of the Omega and the talent of the Onion team to invent a new user friendly 'World Interface'.
