When I got my Omega2+ I went thru the setting process without any problems, was able to install Terminal and Editor successfully. I reset my Omega back to factory default after I update it to b162 and didn't work. After been back on b160 I notice that Console, Terminal and Editor were not installing on initial setup unless been install thru ssh. Also noticed that the version of each one of them had been updated.
Probably the issue is on the new version of Console, Terminal and Editor, also might be a Shellinabox problem.

Have you tried to do a factory reset thru console command ... plus you might need to downgrade it thru serial ... download an older image and install it using .. sysupgrade -f image.bin

Hologram Cellular is no longer available and people that pre-ordered like me have to wait 2 to 3 months to get it.

I can confirm that b162 is not working and had to connect thru serial to fix it. Also Console-Base has been updated to 0.3.1 and there is no Terminal or Editor working.
