I have been trying to build Onion Omega from source as in https://github.com/OnionIoT/source.
However, I am facing a few build errors. I have followed the howto exactly as it says.

I want to add custom packets to Onion image (omega2) but no juice at all. Even tried the .config.O2 setup but it won't work.

Wondering if something is missing on the howto documentation..

Hi,

I want to build a custom image adding a few python packages.
However, some of it is not available in current 18.06 openwrt baseline used on Onion (only in 19.07).

Packages are:
python3-pyserial
python3-requests

Is there a way to include them in current Onion build (18.06)?
How?

Hi, I have been using Omega2S with no LTE support.
Build 0.3.2 b244

My custom board has EC25 connected to Omega.

1. Is there a way to install the EC25 dependencies and make it working?
2. Is there a way to automatically control whether the board will use ethernet ->wifi-> LTE internet connection (same order?)

For the moment, I could have paho-mqtt installed manually. (download .tar.gz, tar, python setup.py install).

Hi, before anything, I did my search and could not find a solution.

I have been trying to use python with MQTT using paho-mqtt library and get Out of memory 12 error as below:

root@Omega-6A5A:~# pip3 install paho-mqtt
...

Well, I figure out it was lack of /overlay space.. then, I added SD card support in my Omega's filesystem:
