@Lazar-Demin so you're going to submit a broken patch? Please don't. You can't just fix one thing and break another. The previous behaviour was more acceptable than the current one, as you turn off the Omega more often than you reboot it, at least at the current stage. So please revert the patch and look into the proper fix before you submit anything upstream.

RE: Omega2 reboot
@Mikaël-PIRIO said in Omega2 reboot:
Hello,
I have the same problem. When I want to turn off my Omega2+ (firmware v0.1.8-b145), I use
halt
(orpoweroff
) command. But these commands do not work and reboot the Omega2+.I can confirm this :(.

Omega2+ not rebooting
My Omega2+ is not rebooting automatically. I always have to power it off and back on manually. The docs seem to mention that this is an issue with the stock firmware, but updating to the latest one did not help.

Disable AP and set static IP
Just got my Omega2+'s, they're working fine.
As I would like to do a more secure Wi-Fi setup, I am wondering how I can:
- Set up a static IP
- Disable the AP and make the Omega a "standard" wifi client
I have tried to disable the AP from the Onion Console, but that setting doesn't seem to do anything.
Anyway, as I can easily access the serial console, I would actually prefer to do the above through command-line. I have done a few experiments with the /etc/config/network and /etc/config/wireless files, but I couldn't come up with a fully reliable configuration.
Thanks in advance!

RE: Broken power switch
@Boken-Lin: Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I have some bad news: the switch just broke down on my second dock as well :(.
I can pay for the shipping, but since I am still waiting for the battery dock, maybe you can include them with that shipment? Or maybe you can even send me just the switches (or tell me where I can buy some good-quality ones with the same form factor): I can solder and can try replacing them myself.

Broken power switch
Today, while switching on my Omega through the switch on the mini-dock, the switch tab just broke off. Luckily the switch got stuck in the ON position, so I can just plug/unplug the cable to control power, but I was wondering if it is possible to get a replacement mini-dock.
Thanks!
